Information you give us
When you ask for a quote, we collect your name, postcode, preferred contact method, contact details, the services you are interested in and any job details you choose to provide. If you email photographs, we use them to understand the work. Please avoid including people, vehicle number plates or private documents in your photos.
If you book work, we may also need the work address, appointment details, correspondence and billing information. Please do not send payment-card details through the enquiry form.
Why we use it
- To answer enquiries, prepare quotes and take steps towards a booking you request.
- To arrange and provide booked work and communicate with you about it.
- To keep appropriate business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
- To protect our website and business from spam, misuse and security problems.
Our lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract and performing that contract, complying with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in handling enquiries and keeping the service secure. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Who handles the information
Netlify hosts this website and, when the live enquiry form is enabled, processes form submissions for us. Enquiries may also be handled through our business email service. These service providers process information to support the website and our communications. We may share information with professional advisers or public authorities where necessary for our legal obligations. We do not sell enquiry details.
Hosting and email providers may process information outside the UK. Applicable transfer arrangements and safeguards depend on the provider; you can ask us for details about your information. Netlify explains its handling in its privacy statement and data processing agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond, follow up and deal with the related work. When an enquiry becomes a booking, relevant information forms part of the customer and business records we need to retain. Retention depends on the enquiry or contract, accounting and legal requirements, and any outstanding complaint or dispute. We review records and remove information that is no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask to access your personal information, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or receive a portable copy. These rights are subject to the conditions and exceptions in data-protection law.

Cookies, the map and external links
This version of the website has no advertising pixels or visitor-analytics scripts. Our hosting and form services may process technical information, including IP addresses, for delivery, spam prevention and security.
The interactive map loads automatically as you approach the coverage section. This connects your browser to OpenStreetMap, which receives connection information such as your IP address. Its handling is explained in the OpenStreetMap Foundation privacy policy.
Facebook is linked rather than embedded. Choosing that link opens Facebook, where its own privacy and cookie policies apply. You can manage cookies and site data using your browser settings.
Website images
General service imagery is used for illustration. Images presented as completed McCabe work will be identified as such, and customer testimonials will only be published with permission.
